Casinos and poker rooms often set their own rules for dealing cards to players, but it is usually as follows:

For the first deal, the dealer must determine the position of the batton (button), to do this, each player at the table receives one card, and the player who receives the highest card starts the game from the position of the batton.

After the players to the left of the button add blinds to the table (Texas Holdem is considered), the cards begin to be dealt. The dealer deals one card to each player, clockwise, starting from the left of the batten. The deal ends when all players receive pocket cards.

In the event that at least one card is opened enough for any of the players to consider it, the dealer starts the deal again. The same rule is used in case a card falls off the table. Previously, this rule looked different, and the dealer could continue to deal cards by removing the open card from the game.
